Up early and out to visit the Wai-o-tapu thermal park. Geyser blows every morning at 1015, with some help, but is approx 40 mins away. Very impressive to see.... pity Val and I could not keep our feet!!!!

Went for all 3 walks which took 90 mins and was very impressive what nature can do. Called at mud pools which were fascinating on way out.

Then called at Te-Paue. This had better geysers but other wise was overpriced and the Maori information was a bit unrealistic.

Had planned to go to the buried villages but shattered with all walking in heat so just drove past and went to a cafe at Lake Tarawera for dinner which was good.
