Day following he tourist trail. First down to Museum del belle artes which on ground floor was quite good. First floor was mainly argentina artists and was more modernist. Not as good.

Walked to Recoleta then for coffee after which we went to cemetery. No entrance fee but 40 pesos for a guide book which was useful. Guided tour would have been 300 pesos. Unbelievable some of the ornate graves/headstones. Finally visited Eva Peron's tomb which was smaller and more pretty with queues to get to. So many years later and people still love her.

Out for some lunch at Buller Brewing which was definitely forgettable!

Decided then to walk to Eva's museum. Big mistake..... Looked close on map but 1 hour later still walking!!

Museum was OK but unless you were immersed in her history not worth while.

Down into town for a coffee at Cafe Tontino. Supposed to be outstanding old cafe. Overrated and overpriced unfortunately.

Home for quick rest before out for dinner at Don Carlos. All the trappings of fine dining..... But wasn't!

In bed at 10 shattered.
